How do I care for my Hartfield pieces?

The best way to care for your pieces is to store them covered and away from the elements. While we don’t endorse these products, we use Noxon 7, dawn dish soap and a soft toothbrush or a polishing cloth for Bronze pieces and Wrights Silver cream for silver. Alternatively, your local jewelry store should be able to provide a quick and thorough clean for a nominal fee.

At home we suggest storing your pieces in their own bags. I.e. Store a pair of earrings, each in their own bag to avoid having them scratch one another. Additionally, the life of your piece will be longer if you avoid wearing in the ocean, pool, shower etc. If your pieces have pearls, we suggest keeping them away from water. Counter-intuituve, we know! However, in some instances they have been reinforced with epoxy, which should remain dry.

What if my piece needs repair?

We thoroughly check every piece before it leaves the studio to ensure you’re receiving a quality item that will last a lifetime. Please email us a photo of your piece and we’ll do our best to get it repaired. In most cases we’ll provide a return label for your items and get it fixed and returned to you ASAP. Repairs that are outside normal wear and tear outside the first year of purchase will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

Return Policy?

All orders are processed “Made to Order” - which means it’s made just for you at the time the order is placed. In order to keep operating costs down, we do not keep inventory of all styles. Therefore, we do not accept returns. Exchanges for equal or greater value only. Please make sure to have your correct size and feel free to ask us any questions before you place your order. However, your satisfaction is our paramount concern so if you feel a piece has been misrepresented, please send us an email and we’ll do our best to make it right.

Can I order a ring in a 1/2 size?

Absolutely! And 1/4 as well. Just send us an email with your order and we will confirm the correct size.

What if I want something in a finish or metal that you don’t offer? Or with a stone added?

Easy! Send us an email with your request and will get back to you with a quote for that request.

LEAD TIMES, ETC.:

Unless clearly outlined, made to order items take approximately 2 weeks to ship. We will send an email with tracking info the moment it leaves the studio. If you need something in a faster timeframe please email us before you place your order and we’ll do our best to make it happen.

SHIPPING:

All orders over $100 qualify for free shipping. Orders under $100 are shipped insured via USPS 2-3 day Priority. For international sales, buyers are responsible for any taxes and duties that may be applied at the point of entry. If you would like your items shipped with another carrier, we’d be happy to accommodate, please email us directly.
